Education

Dr. Quiroz Guadarrama is a graduate of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Faculty of Medicine. He completed his specialty in General Surgery at the Specialties Hospital of the National Medical Center “Siglo XXI” (IMSS), one of Mexico's leading tertiary-care institutions. He then completed a High Specialty (subspecialty) in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Endoscopic Surgery at Hospital General “Dr. Manuel Gea González” in Mexico City.

Training

Dr. Quiroz Guadarrama has pursued advanced international training with some of the world's most respected institutions, including an International Postgraduate program in Interventional Endoscopy at IRCAD (Institut de Recherche contre les Cancers de l'Appareil Digestif) in São Paulo, Brazil; therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy training at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Maryland, USA; and advanced bariatric endoscopy training endorsed by IFSO (International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders).
