Certifications
Lucía is a Certified Nutritionist who graduated from Universidad Iberomericana with honors and is the recipient of the University Medal of Merit. Her interests include gastrointestinal disorders, women’s health, and autoimmune conditions.
Lucía is the first nutritionist certified by IFNA in Mexico. The Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy (IFNA), in an educational partnership with the Institute of Functional Medicine, is a clinician training program for registered dietitian nutritionists and other nutrition professionals. The IFNA’s emerging medical nutrition model combines evidence-based science, clinical wisdom, and critical thinking for the advanced practice of a personalized nutrition care process. 1, 2, 3, 4
